Gift cards and discount codes with subscriptions

We’ve introduced a change in how gift cards and discount codes apply to subscription purchases.

• Gift card
  The discount is applied only to the first payment of the subscription. All subsequent payments for the product are charged at the full price.

• Discount code
  With discount codes, you can now define the duration of the discount during the subscription.
  There are two options:

Once – the discount is applied only to the first subscription payment.

Forever – the discount is applied to all recurring payments throughout the entire subscription period.

This update provides more flexibility in managing discounts and makes the difference between gift cards and discount codes clearer.
